eStatements

TSB Bank is now offering the option for our account holders to receive their monthly account statements in eStatement form instead of the traditional paper format.

What is an eStatement?

An eStatement is just like your regular monthly account statement, except that it is delivered digitally through your login at the Bank's Online Banking website

The eStatement is in PDF format and requires the Adobe Acrobat Reader software to be installed on your local machine to view or print your account statements.

What are the benefits of receiving an eStatement?

You will receive your monthly account statement faster as an eStatement than you would in paper format.  Since the eStatement is a PDF file, you will be able to archive your statements in a small directory on your computer instead of a bulky physical folder or file.

You will also be able to access up to 12 months of statements online at any time.

What are the requirements to receive an eStatement?

The eStatement is in PDF format and requires the Adobe Acrobat Reader software to be installed on your local machine to view or print your account statements.

You will also need to be registered with the Bank's Online Banking website and accept the eStatement disclosure there.

How do I sign up for eStatements?

How do I access my eStatements once I've signed up?

  • Access TSB Bank's Online Banking website.
  • Click on the Account Access button.
  • Click on the eStatements button.
  • Select the account for which you want the eStatement.
  • Select the eStatement month.
  • Hit Submit.
  • Click on the "PDF" Icon to download the eStatement.

I'm trying to get this month's statement, but I'm being told that it's not available.

The eStatement month drop down box updates the newest month for eStatements on the first of each month.  Because of this it is possible for the drop down box to list the current month in the drop down before your eStatement has been created for the month.

For example, if your account statement is created on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, that month will show up in the drop down box although the eStatement will not be available until after the 2nd Wednesday of that month.

When I print my eStatement, it prints small.

The eStatements are rendered in real time as they are requested.  The rendering program creates a PDF file with a page size defined as 11.00 x 11.67 inches instead of the more typical 8.5 x 11 inch letter sized paper.  Acrobat Reader will automatically attempt to fit the rendered page size to the printable paper area on your printer - yielding smaller print.

The current best work around for this is to change your settings when you print the file from Acrobat Reader.  In the "Page Handling" section of the Print dialogue box, change the "Page Scaling" setting to "none,"  and uncheck  the "Auto-Rotate and Center" box.  This will print out a statement page that has bigger print while maintaining almost 100% of the text from the PDF - 2 columns on the left side of the page will be truncated, but those two columns are used in the address block and headers only and not the transaction information.
